About us
Who We Are
Energy Private Developerโs association is a registered professional association in Rwanda, regrouping private companies operating in the energy sector. It is one of the 5 associations composing the Chamber of Industry under the Private Sector Federation (PSF) of Rwanda. EPD services to its members include Capacity Building, Renewable Energy awareness campaigns, Access to Finance facilitation, Trade Missions & B2B, Advocacy, Conferences and Exhibitions, Energy sector coordination, Energy Sector Research Projects, and Empowering Women in Renewable Energy.
At #ERES2026 in Ethiopia, EPD shared Rwandaโs experience on collective advocacy, private investment, e-mobility, and productive-use renewable energy.
The message: connect policy, technology, financing, and viable business models to turn energy access into economic opportunity.
On 13 October, EPD, in partnership with International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), brought together milk collection groups, financial institutions, renewable energy providers, and sector stakeholders to explore practical solutions.
